Matt is a songwriter and producer from Buffalo, NY. In 2003, he moved to Nashville, TN to pursue songwriting in the Christian market. His songs have been recorded by artists Casting Crowns, Passion, Bethel Music, Jesus Culture, Ellie Holcomb, Zach Williams, Sanctus Real, and Kristene Dimarco, among others. Matt’s songwriting hit No.1 at Christian radio with Chris Tomlin’s “At The Cross (Love Ran Red).” The line “love ran red” provided the inspiration for the title track of the Grammy nominated album.
